Anticipating home near Ballysnackamore

Our time in our temporary accommodation is about to come to an end. Our landlords have been so understanding, having treated us to meals and BBQ specials, knowing the limited facilities in our wee bedroom/kitchenette loft rental.

The lockdown caused by Covid19 has resulted in our new build to be delayed by a few months. The great news though is that in a fortnight we'll be moving from our current attic AirB&B to our new  home in East Belfast.

It's been an eventful few months to say the least.

Thankfully our big son is out of ICU and recovering well.

We've also had the joy of having a grandson recently,  who we are hoping to cuddle one of these days.

Then we have the added joy of another grandchild due later this month, which will take our grandchildren total to four.

Hope has been defined as "cheerful expectation."

Looking back I'm very thankful for God's faithfulness. I'm now looking forward  with "cheerful expectation" to being able to walk to our local restaurants and watering holes at Ballysnackamore!

A News Letter feature says"It says Ballyhackamore has become known as “Ballysnackamore” thanks to the “brunching, dining and sipping of cocktails that are enjoyed along the Upper Newtownards Road”. Who doesn't love the Mandarin City chinese restaurant?

The ‘Best Places to Live’ guide names the east Belfast area ahead of Holywood, Newcastle, Portrush and Strangford as the most desirable place in the Province.

Looking forward to getting settled.
