Two Destinations - One choice

"Two roads diverged in the middle of my life, I heard a wise man say, I took the road less traveled by, And that’s made the difference, every night and every day" —Larry Norman

Supposing you were driving your car on a broad road but you didn't realise it was leading towards a blind corner, around which was a cliff edge.  I'm sure you'd want to be forewarned, as unless you changed course, you would ultimately be crashing to your destruction.
I also hold good news. There is a narrow road, detouring off from the broad road, leading away from the potential danger to safety and life.

It would be terribly remiss of me not to set up a warning sign (Ezekiel 33:9).
"The most loving thing we can do for our friends and our family is to warn them about the road that leads to destruction and tell them about the road that leads to life."

That's what this blog is.
A warning sign. A detour to choose God's plan of salvation and forgiveness.

Even if I offend you, for whatever reason, I think you'd agree, that any warning to the wise, of impending doom is generally welcomed.

This is an analogy about life, in respect to the afterlife.

Jesus came and talked about two eternal destinations: Destruction or Life.

Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it (Matthew7:13,14)."

"We were born with our autopilot set towards (the destruction known as) hell."

However the alternative destination, that of Heaven (life) can be yours, but only if you believe in the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

All roads do not lead to heaven, only one does. Jesus Christ. He said "Noone comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6).

One thing is for sure, none of us will live forever! Some even dare believe at death its simply game over. There is such hopelessness in the presumptuous thought of annihilationism.

The Bible however claims that at death, eternity of one sort beckons. The scriptures fill us with the hope-filled assurance that hell can be avoided and that heaven can be gained.

Your personal choice shall most surely determine your eternal destiny. Please don't delay.

I'm praying for you, that you choose well.

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them (John 3:36).

Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life (John 5:24).
